  • Island of Newfoundland: The moose hunting season runs from September 14 to December 31, 2024​

Quotas and Licenses

  • Island of Newfoundland: A total of 27,590 licenses have been established, which include 18,390 Either Sex, 8,740 Male Only, and 460 Not-For-Profit (NFP) licenses.

Harvesting Regulations

  • It is unlawful for a person to allow a harvested wild game that is suitable for food to be destroyed, wasted or spoiled.
